All About Lighthouse Point Yacht Club
Lighthouse Point Yacht Club was launched in the 60s, ideally situated only minutes by boat form the Intracoastal Waterway, Hillsboro Inlet, and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Offering the advantages of its proximity and ease of access, the Club is highly regarded among yachtsmen and boating enthusiasts. The Club’s Mission is to “provide exceptional social and recreational experiences to our Members and Guests.” The modern, private Club offers a variety of membership options with access to first class amenities.
Lighthouse Point Yacht Club Amenities Abound
Following a major investment in renovations, Lighthouse Point Yacht Club features state of the art facilities, cementing its position as one of South Florida’s premier private clubs. The Club’s superb marina is the anchor of the facility and features accommodations for yachts and sport fishing craft up to 120 feet. Offering 30-, 50-, and 100-amp service, year-round or seasonally, as well as full-service facilities and an attentive dockside staff, the Club’s Marina is ready to meet all your needs.
In addition to the Club’s premier marina, the tennis facility features genuine Har-Tru Clay Courts, along with tennis, health, fitness, and swim professionals on-site. Membership at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club is ideal for any lifestyle – families with children, couples, and singles. A variety of memberships are available including:
- Flagship Membership for Ages 35+
- Junior Membership for Ages 34 and under
- Legacy Membership for those ages 25+ whose parents or grandparents are current members
- Summer Membership available May 1 to October 31
- Seasonal Membership available November 1 to April 30 with limited availability.
Membership features the 78-slip marina, the fitness center, aerobics room, and junior Olympic swimming pool, as well as tennis programming and youth activities. Members also enjoy À La Carte Dining, a card room, the Family Yachting and Cruising Group, and other social events as well as reciprocal privileges.
Lighthouse Point Yacht Club offers a number of annual events and programs perfect for every age, plus member committees meet and share ideas with Club management regularly. Among the most popular events and activities include holiday celebrations as well as the monthly Full Moon Party, Live Music and DJ entertainment three times per week. Other weekly events include wine tastings and farm-to-table dinners on the face dock as well as themed events throughout the year.
The Family Yachting and Cruising Group gathers monthly and enjoys planned cruises complete with delectable dinners and lots of fun activities for the whole family. Plus, the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club offers fishing tournaments for all ages throughout the year along with inter and intra-club tennis tournaments. Private tennis lessons are available as well as cardio tennis, group live ball, and night-time tennis on the well-lit clay courts. The newly renovated fitness center offers personal training as well as group classes which include spin, yoga, and SPOGA. And not to be missed are the monthly Kid’s Days at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club! Filled with loads of fun, these daily events offer a variety of themes each month just for kids.
