My son has been going to Camp Live Oak since he was 5 and loves it. He is now turning 10 and is still interested in attending and in fact aspires to be a counselor there one day! Not only are the programs wholesome and engaging, but it’s the staff that makes it so special. The camp director, Ken Evans is so personally committed to making this camp a great experience for each child. Every counselor is first aid qualified with teaching credentials, but the best part is they love kids. Every year they add new programs to keep the youngsters coming back so that they feel like they are graduating into a new level. My son participated in the the mountain biking and the bubble makers introduction to scuba last year and wants to do it again. What we love as parents is that they get to have the sleep away camp experience without leaving us alone for the summer 🙂
